DRIVES (DMV) Major Tech Upgrade

The Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is launching a major digital makeover in February 2026, and we are excited about the benefits this will bring to you! The state is upgrading its entire system, including the public e-services platform, myDMV, to offer everyone a much simpler, faster, and more secure experience. The statewide transition will happen in February 2026.

This upgrade is set to revolutionize the way customers handle their driver and vehicle needs.

Notice of Change to the iCounty.org Fees

Thanks to the Electronic Recording Technology Board (ERTB) grant program that will offer $10,000,000 in funding to Colorado county clerks, we have taken a proactive approach and changed the Daily and Monthly iCounty.org search fees to zero ($0.00) effective at 12:00 a.m. on 06/14/2021. The per-page print fee remains $0.25 per page to print uncertified documents and a $5.00 fee to export any recorded plat maps. When creating a “Sign-in” for iCounty, the customer will be required to enter their credit/debit card information for the purpose of capturing the per-page print charges.
